Local Interests- Day's Out - Activities

This area is approximately 10-15mins walk from the apartment and boasts several traditional bars and restaurants, where Sky Sports is available in most bars. There are also little coves and beaches in this area which are ideal for swimming and water sports.

There are a number of Markets which operate daily all of which are very close to the apartment. Take your pick from Larnaca Municipal Indoor Market, Agia Thekla Market, Liopetri Market or Oroklini Market. Ideal for  buying local delicacies, stock items for your stay or even gifts or memories of your stay.

Take a trip to the biggest mountain range in Cyprus, located in the centre of the Island. Troodos also has nine churches and one monastery that feature in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. During the Winter Season, these beautiful mountains are covered in snow and a fantastic place to go skiing. 

There are a number of excellent Waterparks in the nearby area which offer a day trip of fun for the entire family. Waterfun is located in Kapparis and Water World Waterpark is located in Ayia Napa. If you are looking for watersports, then Fig Tree Bay Watersports is somewhere you must visit.

If you are not a fan of the water and would like to be more landbound, then try the local attractions of Sunfari Nature Jeep, Camel Park or the Red Bus Village Tours. These activities are great for adults and children of all ages.

If you like to be a bit more adventurous, then try the Undersea Adventures - you get the opportunity to walk on the seabed, with no diving experience necessary.  For those who prefer to be on the water opposed to in it, then have a look at Catamaran Cruises.
